It is so hard to find gem beads with big holes to use with hemp.

Can I use scissors to cut beading wire? We do not recommend cutting beading wire with regular scissors, as this may damage your scissors. In addition, they may not cut the beading wire cleanly or get sufficiently close. We recommend that you use either a bead nipper (TL0308) or cutter (TL0300).
What is beading? Beading is when water droplets try to turn themselves back into globes of water on a hydrophobic (water hating) surface. The more ‘upright’ the bead, the more water repellent the surface. Some synthetic waxes sheet water instead of beading it, because they are hydrophilic and love water so much they spread it across the surface instead of allowing it to form into beads. Both types of surface can have paintwork protection benefits, but we think beading looks better when it rains.
